Biography
Eva Freeman, born in upstate New York, grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. During her time at UNCG, she became a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta honor societies and made the Dean's List and Chancellor's List each semester. She graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. She later obtained her paralegal certificate from Duke University and worked as a paralegal in family law, where she discovered her passion for the law and for assisting clients through difficult times. Eva went on to attend The University of North Carolina School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2020. In law school, she interned at the Wake Public Defender's Office and for the Orange County District Attorney, where she gained both client and courtroom experience. Upon completion, she chose to practice family law because she understands the emotional plight of the clients, as she is not only a child of divorce but divorced and co-parenting as well.
When she is not practicing law, you can find her spending time with her husband and three sons, going to the beach, and Latin dancing.
