ELLIS FAMILY LAW, PLLC, provides legal counseling and support services for people undergoing transitions in their family lives. Alyscia "Gray" Ellis, Esq. is the founding member and Senior Partner of ELLIS FAMILY LAW, PLLC. Since 1994 Ms. Ellis has devoted her career to working with families in crisis through her work with the Wake County Juvenile Court as a juvenile court counselor, Durham County Public Defender’s Office as an intern, and in private practice focusing primarily on family law. In 2007 Ms. Ellis achieved the designation of “specialist” in family law, as designated by the North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization, and has maintained said designation. Today Ms. Ellis has been recognized as part of “Star Search” by Super Lawyers Magazine. Ms. Ellis spends her time outside of the office volunteering with Durham Self-Help Divorce Clinic, Orange County Women’s Shelter, and NCCU School of Law’s Family Law Clinic and Moot Court competitions. She is also a spouse and parent who understands first-hand the fears and uncertainties involved with the legal process. She brings that experience to the table every time she meets and advises a client. When she can get away to recharge Ms. Ellis enjoys golf, traveling, watching ACC sporting events, and water activities such as jet skiing and parasailing.

Autumn D. Osbourne, associate attorney, believes in the spirit of negotiations, efficiency, and logical and rational thinking during difficult times to effectively serve the needs of her clients. As an individual who has experienced the effects of separation and divorce, she is sensitive to the needs of both children and adults during such times. She believes in the importance of recognizing how divorce can impact not only the parties involved but the family as a whole. Given her experiences, she is passionate about the work she does. Autumn obtained her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech University and Master's in Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She graduated from NCCU School of Law with a passion to help others after participating in the Family Law Clinic and working for Alyscia "Gray" Ellis, Attorney at Law. While at NCCU School of Law she actively served the community by working with both Legal Aid of Durham and the Street Law program in Wake County. She currently volunteers at Durham County Legal Aid by teaching the Pro Se Divorce Clinic. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Family Bar Association, and the Durham County Bar Association.

Lisa Addison (Paralegal) As a divorced mother of three, Lisa brings practical experience to her day-to-day client interactions. Lisa has experienced first hand the effects that divorce can have on children and strives to help families navigate the emotional highs and lows that affect families in transition. She is appreciated for her straight forward demeanor and ability to provide non legal guidance with a caring touch.
